Mixing Merino Roving/Top and Angelina Fibre

Just a quick question (I hope). If I want to lay down a mixture of merino and angelina (without doing three separate layers of merino, angelina cobweb layer and final merino cobweb layer to hold the angelina down) do I have to card it together to get it to mix, or is there another way that I'm not aware of?

    Thank you

You need very little angelina as a rule to make something very sparkley if you lay it out very thinly on top and start slow you shouldn't need more to hold it down. Or you could card the last layer of wool with the angelina. you don't have to wait your angalena by mixing it in all the layers and it will save you work to only do the last layer.

Thank you. It's to go on a bauble, so I thought I could needle felt my angelina/merino mix as my last layer before doing my usual wet finish.I'll do some experimenting!
