Cobweb Felt

Has anyone tried and suceeded in making cobweb felt on an embellisher?

My house burn't down a couple of months ago and I until I find another suitable house I am unable to do wet felting. I missed felting so much I have gone and purchased a Janome embellisher and would like to be able to make some cobweb felt.

You could try machine felting very lightly on wash-away stabilizer - the kind that looks like paper towel, not the plasticky kind. You would need to use the multi-hole soleplate so as not to puncture holes in the work with the large open hole soleplate. The best way is to experiment and then tell us about it.
