Wet felt.
About the size of a tennis ball.
Wool, mohair, metallic yarn, wool yarn.
Made in November 09.
I also made a Fall Colours inspired ball. The picture is on my Flickr photo Gallery.

Autumn Colours felt ball
About the size of a tennis ball.
Wet felt. Fabric core. Chained linen, crochet and embedded on the fibres.
Colours are from wool yarn, woven on the surface before felting.
Crochet linen bead.... extension of the linen on the ball.
Made in October '09, in the peak of the Fall colours!

Sorry Fleur i've been trying to post this for a couple of days, i love your Felt Balls they look really great, i especially love the Autumn colored one.

yes I have something, I am just slow. I did this I was tying to use bright colours because I tend to go with natural earth tones. and dark colours. I wanted it to look like a sunset over water without trying to make it look "real"

Beautiful Ann, stunning, when we get sunsets like that here in New Zealand its always tinged with sadness because its all the smoke etc coming from Australian bushfires.
