DECEMBER CHALLENGE The Season's
Dec Challenge is all about the Seasons, Your favorite season, all four seasons or perhaps representations of the seasons of life.

Wet felt.
About the size of a tennis ball.
Wool, mohair, metallic yarn, wool yarn.
Made in November 09.

Autumn Colours felt ball
About the size of a tennis ball.
Wet felt. Fabric core. Chained linen, crochet and embedded on the fibres.
Colours are from wool yarn, woven on the surface before felting.
Crochet linen bead.... extension of the linen on the ball.
Made in October '09, in the peak of the Fall colours!

yes I have something, I am just slow. I did this I was tying to use bright colours because I tend to go with natural earth tones. and dark colours. I wanted it to look like a sunset over water without trying to make it look "real"

Method: wet felted using a prefelt base. using icelandic batt. Not sure which long wool breed the curls are.

Beautiful Ann, stunning, when we get sunsets like that here in New Zealand its always tinged with sadness because its all the smoke etc coming from Australian bushfires.

Method: Wet felted over plastic whiffle balls with bell inside, needle felted designs, yarn hanger - mixed breed wool, merino, commercial yarn for hanger
