And How Will We Challenge Ourselves in 08

Marie, thank you and the moderators for your hard work in keeping up this forum and conducting such wonderful challenges.
Also many thanks to the challenge gift sponsors

Have you any ideas or plans for the upcoming year?

I love the May , Halloween , and Winter Wonderland themes.

My New Years resolutions are to enter at least four challenges this year &
to post a picture of each project I complete - however good or bad it turns out.

Wishing everyone a calm and happy gift giving season.

I think it would be great if we did some broad challenges such as:

Try a new technique - something you haven't done before.

Use a color that you wouldn't normally use.

For the needle felters, perhaps try something 2D instead of 3D.

That's all I can currently come up with off the top of my head but I'll keep thinking on it.

I loved the entries to the Halloween challenge - that might be a good one to repeat next year. I know I don't post that often, but I do check in and see what you all are up to, and I have been doing a little felting, just nothing that I feel is impressive enough to share in a challenge yet.

I think we could repeat the most popular challenges from this year. There is always something new to do. maybe a Christmas, hanukkah (or what ever you mid winter holiday is) in July type theme as its so busy at this time of year

Yay Nean, would love to see you post some of your stuff.
I'll be learning to wet felt, make a few dolls and work in some other colors in the coming year.

    Regards,
    Veronica

How about Celestial bodies like the Sun, Moon and Stars?

Or perhaps the Elements - Earth, Wind, Fire & Water.

I personally liked the Felt Us a Tune Challenge we had earlier this year- I thought that was a great idea.
