    Thanks once again everyone! I'm going to be attending a workshop in Istanbul in two weeks to study with master felter Mehmet Girgic. I expect to put this idea to use in larger more grand ways shortly and i can't wait to share it with you all.

    Not up to the standard of yours but you inspired me to try some Glasgow buildings.
    Here is my 1st one Felted Drawing-dscn4101.jpg


    Its layers of fleeceneedle felted with black then coloured with chalks
    I have ideas for some more local buildings thankyou for the insperation

    Mehmet and Theresa May O'Brian were soooo lovely! They are the duo behind Ikonium Studios in Istanbul. If anyone is out that way, I totally recommend a day workshop with them, you learn SO MUCH. They are really generous.
