Felted Drawing
Hi All,
I've been doing some experimenting lately with felt "drawing" inspired by posts where people have done felt "paintings"
I used a 3mm industrial sheet of Merino wool, and needle felted black New Zealand roving, and black and white cotton yarn into various layers which I've sewn or glued together.
What do you guys think? Anyone else have photos of drawing with felt? I just took a slew of photos of new work that has to be edited, which I'll post shortly!

I'm glad you posted separate pics, because in the whole photo of you in front of your presentation, the buildings are too small to see.
This is superb!http://www.rosiepink.typepad.co.uk

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Chrissy, it looking like charcoal really worked against me at the large student show I took part of a month ago. People just walked right by! I don't think they knew it was felted, or didn't care enough to look. (most people who go to the shows are very focused on paintings) But those who did had a similar reaction to what you imagined! I would love to show these in another context where fiber artists appreciate the drawing illusion.
