Great advice! I always make a little pile of mini wool "batts" while I'm working. I take a small tuft of wool & kind of break up the direction of fibers by pulling it in all different directions...

I agree with Feltfinland! I find that looking at CARTOON eye expressions helps a lot, they are so exaggerated that you can really see what parts of the eye area get the specific emotion you want....

I agree with all the suggestions! I always give my pieces a "haircut" using little sharp sewing scissors when I'm done felting. Helps make the piece look finished! Great hedgehog, so cute!
