Hi, I've just joined a community project to build a yurt. The framework is done and we have now secured the help of a horse over a period of weekends to make the panels. We will be decorating the outside with natural dyed wools to create a landscape that reflects where we are on the Sussex Downs. I'll post some photos when we make a start. Mo

Amazing! Yurts are so cool, I've always wanted one.. they are good for creative energy because they are a circle so nothing gets stuck in corners.
Mo, please post pics! That sounds so awesome.

Momo, that sounds like a great summer project - if summer ever comes of course! I'm sure many of us would like to join in the fun - and some hard work of course. I agree pics please!
Yurt Recipe:
So quite simple really
Take one flock of sheep, some handshears, a large family with muscles, buckets of water (probably carried from a not too nearby river) a large pole, some rope and a horse or three. Oh yes, and some wood from nearby trees, we'll need an axe and a couple more tools and miles of cord.
NO PROBLEM!!!
