Not to spoil the fun. But, I would love to do a real ornament exchange for next oct/nov. If anyone is interested.

Regards.

I thought this would be fun also.
To keep it from being too overwhelming, I was thinking we could just exchange with ONE person, vs. FIVE as the feltmakers list does.

Thoughts?

OK ... We'll start a special section for this with instructions so people can sign up to participate. :-D

I think it will be best to wait until mid-year so we don't get people signing up who don't stick around.

Look for it June-Julyish :O)

Marie,
Is March supposed to be Celestial Bodies or is that part of the description for February?

Linda :-)

AppleRoseFarm,
I love the picture of your lamb on your avatar! It's wool is such a gorgeous color. Do you sell the wool in that natural un-dyed color? It also looks like it has a lot of curl to it.

To answer your question, which I just asked recently myself, the challenge covers 3 months at a time. (Quarterly challenges) So if you participate each month, then at the end of each quarter your name is entered 3 times, once for each month you entered, then the winner is drawn and is listed in the newsletter. Hope this helps.

Linda :)

Linda - Marie may have missed your question - but Celestial Bodies is the challenge for March. It does look like part of the Feb. challenge in the description.

Thanks Kay and Marie!! Have a Blessed Super Bowl Sunday!!!
I don't watch football but my husband does and he's all excited about it.
I am spending my afternoon felting with Kay Petal's Terrific Class and kit.

I had a question about April's felting challenge. Since the theme is reduce, reuse, recycle, is it okay to full an old sweater to use as a base? I would like to needle felt a design onto this old sweater. Then use that base to wrap around an art canvas? (I hope that sounds right, I don't feel like I am explaining myself well. Just let me know.
Thanks and happy felting,
Cassie Shella
